A busy day at the house
Well, today was a busy day! First, Doug said he told me that they’d be doing the floors today. I remember talking to him about it, but I did not hear “Monday.” Shoot! I only packed a few boxes this weekend. So I called Randy (he had gone into work today), told him about it, and he came home to help pack all the stuff in the bedrooms. I worked all day on the library. Randy worked on our bedroom and putting boxes and stuff out into the tent-like gazebo thing we have out back and the garage.
The floor guy came and took out the baseboards. The counter guy came and prepared for counter tops and installed the farmhouse sink. The tile guy came and started on the tiles for the bath-shower in the hall. The electrician came, too. Not sure exactly what he did but he’s getting stuff set up for the appliances.
Randy and I were pooped. Went out to The Brit for fish & chips and Irish stew. Yum.
