Two more days

Today as I got out of the car at work I was thinking, "Two more days!!!!" Can't wait to see Barb and the others, and Paris.

I wrote an email to Francesco, our host for our VRBO in Paris, asking about the rain and floods. He said some things had closed for a while but everything should be back to normal by the time we arrive.

From the forecast it looks like it'll be pretty rainy, but I think we'll be all right. When Zach and Cori were in Paris it was super hot. I'd rather have rain than heat. I told Barb we'd be "gezellig" in our little apartment. She laughed and said I needed to find a French word.

On a more sobering note we received a notice from Airbnb about an app that will alert us if there are emergency situations. I downloaded it. Good to be prepared.
