A Charming Hilltop Village and a Breathtaking Art Show
We went to "a charming hilltop village" (as it's described in the Viking guide book), Les Baux. The views were spectacular.
We also went to an art show called Carrieres de Lumieres that the guide book calls "breathtaking," but really it was kind of strange. "Weird" might have been a better adjective. It was cool to see, though.
The Chagall paintings seem like good images for this type of medium -- showing the paintings illuminated on incredibly high limestone walls.
They played music throughout. To be honest, it felt like what I would imagine a drug-induced "trip" would be like. A good trip.
